The Development

Brickyard Village

Brickyard Village is located just beyond the train tracks along downtown Kingsport’s Main Street. Our planned community will be built on 50 acres of the former General Shale plant and will consist of approximately 80 single-family homes, 140 townhomes, and 240 apartment units.

Our new development will build strong community connections with planned greenspaces, playground, walking trails, dog park, clubhouse, gym, and a community pool area. There is also planned space for both a coffee shop and restaurant in the community. The greenspaces will focus on the natural environment of our region with multiple pocket parks and a pond with water features. In addition, there are plans for portions of the community buildings to utilize solar energy.

A planned ADA-accessible pedestrian bridge will connect downtown Kingsport to the Brickyard Village community. This will extend over the CSX Railroad tracks, providing convenient access between the neighborhood and downtown.

Our neighborhood is adjacent to both Brickyard Park (a 43-acre sport facility, community park, Skatepark and Pump Track) and the new planned Cement Hill Park. Cement Hill will also include walking trails, public art displays, city overlooks, public parking lot, and public greenspace to accommodate concerts and community gatherings.
